It has been brought to our attention that NEL coils for Apex units have a small glitch that’s unlikely to affect many users however it’s there. In MS mode ONLY the ability to detect larger high conductive targets is diminished or non-existent, large Silver targets are affected however Gold is not affected, this will only affect saturated salt, wet sand users, as that is the only place you would use that mode. For this reason, we have reduced the price of these coils to reflect.
Nel Storm 13" x 14" Coil for Ace APEX metal detector. Including coil cover and fitting kit. Storm coil is designed to detect medium and small targets at depth which is unattainable for any other standard coils. Working with a slow swing will maximise its ability in finding not only large and medium targets but small targets which weigh less than 1g at 20 cm deep as well. The Storm coil is suited for finding coins, treasures and artefacts in the field of military battles in any territory. This coil is superior to standard coil in depth by 55% and in ground coverage of between 60%. This coil is recommended for use in open terrain. It is fully submersible, the body is filled with epoxy resin and has an additional black protective coating. The coil copes excellently with high and medium soil salinity.
