I have been detecting now for a little over ten years, and have owned a few detectors, a couple of them from other companies or privately purchased.

However, when I first dealt with Regtons, I was reminded of my many years in retail. Here was/is a company, with a team who care about the customers, and their needs. Always ready to take time to give good, reliable advice.

The aftersales service is second to none.

Hi Regton,Thank you for your excellent service, I ordered a scuf cover for my Tesoro not realising that there was one already fitted, I returned it to you and asked if you could exchange it for a control box cover and I would pay the diference you did this with out any bother and sent me a new control box cover all within four days so thank you again for excellent service. Please note: Bristol is a city and a county. This is not recognised in your address form.

The form has 'Avon' which never was a county - it was a local government administration area, but hasn't existed at all since 1996.

It's just a small thing, but causes us great indignation here in the West Country. In fact, we talk of little else.

I hope you can correct it.

I have added Bristol to the list - you can find it at the bottom of the list for the time being. I shall also try to change the sort order of the counties to being sorted by name. Hope that will help you to find the correct county easier and quicker.

i have a scanmaster golg buget meteldetecter can any one tell me what setting should put it on on the beach i have sensertiverty and descrimanate all i am finding is metal items :!cry:

Hi Paul,

You need to discriminate out nails and foil on the control box display, however, larger bits of iron WILL still be detected.

You need to set the sensitivity as high as possible without the detector being unstable. Unfortunately it is unlikely you will be able to detect on the wet part of the beach. I would recommend using it above the high tide mark to get the best results.

I Just wanted to say thanks to Marcus for his help in getting me started on my first Detector. Garrett Ace 250,
And for taking the time to show me the basic set up.
Also for showing me the Quickest route to the M6 form the Shop on Friday after noon, It was a lot quicker going the way he sugested lol :D

Just like to say thanks for your honesty and integrity , I bought a dues lite off you for the wife , but I could tell she would of been happier with the remote screen to look at . Thinking this could cost over £500 as per forums suggest , I rung you and straight away I was told I could have it for the same price as if I had bought the full package ,£410 . I was well made up . You could of charged me the full price and I would never of known ,thanks again ,Fran .

over the last 2 months i have used your online form 7 times to request a brochure.
